Be Loyal to Wisdom

Someone asked me about loyalty. Here’s my answer.

Be loyal to wisdom. 
Freedom is not
your own way versus someone else’s. 
Freedom is the supreme 
improvisational following.

Stop striving to find your dharma. 
Nothing belongs to you.
Relax and let 
wisdom sweep away 
all contrivances and constructions.

Despite these words, you’ll probably go on 
loyal to your plans and names, 
loyal to logic and conceptions.
You’ll go on making stronger versions of yourself, 
mistaking that for realization.

I don’t know how more plainly
I can say!
Live like a dragon in the sky
Live like a mare upon the ground
Live like a human traveler walking maps 
written in the water 
and the sky.
