Nine - Hardened things get broken apart
You are ever-exhausted workers. You have to earn everything—both punishment and reward. You are continually measuring.
And there’s always an outside. A place of ex-communication. An “us” and a “them.” You even ex-communicate yourselves out of shame.
Some of your gods are also punishing and rewarding. They scare you into submission, keeping you running, and offering you only revocable safety.
This solidified living eventually turns into the gateway to the arc of destruction.
